Allegheny North Veterinary Hospital, Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital and Pets In Harmony Veterinary Hospital located in Perrysville, Wexford and Harmony, PA are three privately-owned veterinary hospitals looking for an experienced full-time or part-time veterinarian to work at one or all locations. Our hospitals have been privately owned & operated for over a combined 50 years and we plan to remain privately owned for many years to come.
All three locations are canine/feline exclusive with a team of experienced CVTs and technician assistants. Our low employee turnover rate greatly helps in building our team of experienced staff that deliver high-quality patient care, efficient daily workflow and boosts our practice’s reputation.
Our North Hills and Wexford area hospitals are near sports, entertainment, cultural arts & fine dining. All school districts in our area are in the Top 5 within their respective counties. There are an abundant number of playgrounds and parks for hiking, fishing and kayaking. Access to urban amenities are just 20 minutes away in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Our business hours are Monday through Friday, closed for the weekends and no on-call hours. Doctors and support staff enjoy a reasonable work-life balance.
Appointments are 30 minutes long allowing doctors the time to work up a case, develop relationships with clients, and alleviate the stress related to a high-volume quota-based business model of patient care.
We believe in hiring doctors with diverse perspectives and ideas. Doctors at our hospitals have the freedom to practice medicine based on their experience to provide a diagnosis and treatment that prolongs our patients’ quality of life.
The veterinarian position is guaranteed for 15-20 hours weekly with potential for up to 30+ hours per week if desired. Salary to be discussed based on experience, hours and locations worked.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in small animal veterinary and be comfortable with client communication, preventative medicine, diagnostics, pharmacology and general surgery.
